There are a number of reasons for building with Nexcem

First of all, it's a green product made out of recycled materials. It’s a mixture of wood and cement. Because the forms are made with no chemicals, it is completely non-toxic. Because it is a strong product and provides great insulation we are seeing a lot more homes being built with insulated concrete form system (ICF).

There is no need to insulate after construction because the forms are filled with insulation when they are placed. Once it’s poured we simply parge the exterior. In addition to the other benefits, there is no vapor barrier on this product which allows the house to breathe naturally.

For the Adamo Estate Winery we hand chiseled every stone to give it a five point look and give the impression that the building has been standing on this spot for over a century. The stone for this project came from several quarries all on the Bruce Peninsula.

This Owen Sound home was veneered with a locally manufactured Shouldice stone.

Thin river rock was incorporated throughout this waterfront home in Sauble Beach.

Pioneer was asked to complement the design of this This Oliphant beauty with a lifetime maintenance free product.

This Eramosa Limestone Fireplace was dry stacked. Every stone was manually custom fit to achieve the tightness between the stones.

This limestone bar is located in Sauble Beach. The home owner was looking for a natural appearing wall with an aged look of a British pub.

We are proud of this thin stone fireplace made with Wiarton Grey Limestone. Pioneer met with the homeowners after they had their building plans.
